We are excited about the prospect of you joining our family soon. Here are just a few things we would like you to know about enrolling into our centres that are yet to open.
Enrolling in Our Future Centres
Our Process
As we are a new service, we are not yet approved for the Child Care Subsidy. This is standard procedure for any new service. Our application will be finalised once we are operational as this requires our Service Approval. This can take some time, so in the interim, we will estimate your child’s gap fee based on details you provide upon Enrolment as per below.
Fee Payment
Fee Payment Agreements must be provided to the centre prior to commencement. Estimation of the gap fee or full fees will apply pre CCS approval. Fee Payment agreements will be sent out via email when you receive your enrolment offer. Please also provide a copy of your Child Care Subsidy Approval Letter with your entitlements listed on it for each child for us to verify prior to estimation (this can be found in the Inbox section of your MyGov Centrelink account). Alternatively, a screenshot from the MyGov app will also be accepted, representing those same details.
Our fee payment terms are 2 weeks in advance at all times, this replaces a Bond being taken. When you give your 2 weeks notice to leave, as long as your account is up to date, your fee payments will be ceased and the 2 weeks in advance you paid upfront will be used for those final 2 weeks of fees. What this means is that on commencement, you will be required to pay 3 weeks worth of your child’s gap fee (if entitled to CCS) which includes the current week + the 2 weeks in advance. Payments are then processed every Wednesday unless approved otherwise by management. Unfortunately, we don’t allow fortnightly fee payments.
Further Information
Please ensure when you begin the Enrolment process that the Parent/Guardian with whom the Child is registered under, for CCS purposes, is listed as Parent/Guardian #1 on the application.
This is the person signing up for our iParent Portal for ease of processing fees and electronic linking to Centrelink. Please let us know if you may have entered the wrong Parent/Guardian so we can make these changes prior to commencement at the centre.
Centrelink & Holiday Discount Information
You will need to provide your Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) and your Child’s CRN at time of enrolment along with your date of birth if you are entitled to CCS.
Holiday discount will be offered at 20% for 4 weeks per year eg. if your child attends 4 days per week your entitlement would be 16 days per financial year.
No Casual days will be offered while we are awaiting Child Care Subsidy approval.
More Information
Birth Certificate/Immunisation record – must be provided prior to commencing at the centre, this is part of our compliance with the state legislation and regulations.
Discounts will be applied and backdated once CCS Approval has been granted and enrolment is confirmed on MyGov.
Child Care Subsidy
Many families will be eligible for Child Care Subsidy (CCS). To find out if you are eligible, please visit the MyGov website. Child Care Subsidy is determined based on the hours worked by parents/caregivers and combined income. The subsidy is paid directly to the centre and will reduce the daily fee. If you are not eligible for CCS or have not yet applied for CCS, you will be required to pay the full daily fee until your CCS is approved.
