Meet David

My name is David and I’m proud to lead the team here at Eden Academy Footscray. I entered the early childhood and education field in 2021 as a trainee and with a strong drive to support and inspire young learners, I’ve steadily progressed through a variety of leadership roles to now proudly serve as Centre Manager.
Since joining Eden Academy in 2023, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible educators who share the same commitment to creating meaningful learning experiences and safe environments.
I believe every child deserves a space where they feel safe, supported and inspired to grow. I believe that when children feel secure and valued, they thrive not just academically, but socially and emotionally. That’s the environment we strive to build every day at Eden Footscray.
Whether it’s through thoughtful routines, engaging programs or warm relationships with families, my goal is to ensure every child walks through our doors feeling excited to learn and confident in who they are.

    What are your opening and closing hours?

    Footscray is open Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:30pm. We are closed on public holidays. If you have any questions, our team is happy to help.

    What are the fees at Eden Academy Footscray?

    Most families are entitled to the Child Care Subsidy, which makes early learning significantly more affordable. To get a personalised estimate of your out-of-pocket costs, use our free CCS Calculator. Select your centre, enter a few details, and get your estimated weekly gap fee on the spot. To confirm fees or ask any questions, contact the Beaconsfield team directly.

    Are meals included and who prepares the food?

    Yes, all meals are included in your fees. Our centre Cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals on-site each day, following a rotating menu designed to meet the dietary needs of young children. We cater for common allergies and dietary requirements, and you’re always welcome to view the weekly menu. All team members involved in food handling complete Food Safety Training.

    How will I stay updated on my child's day?

    We use OWNA and KindyHub to share daily updates, observations, and photos directly with families. You’ll be able to see what your child has been learning, eating, and exploring, and message the team if you have any questions throughout the day.
