Meet Emily
Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working across a variety of roles in long-day care services, most recently as an Area Service Manager. This journey in Early Education and Care has deepened my belief in the power of meaningful relationships between children, families, educators, and the wider community. I truly believe that these supportive, reciprocal connections are at the heart of every child’s learning and development.
As someone who’s passionate about the outdoors, whether it’s camping, wakeboarding, or soaking in the fresh air, I bring this energy into my professional pedagogy, advocating for the importance of rich, engaging outdoor learning environments that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection.
I find fulfillment in mentoring and collaborating with educators, helping to shape approaches that support both personal and professional growth.

What are your opening and closing hours?
Kurri Kurri is open Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:30pm. We are closed on public holidays. If you have any questions, our team is happy to help.
What are the fees at Eden Academy Beaconsfield?
Most families are entitled to the Child Care Subsidy, which makes early learning significantly more affordable. To get a personalised estimate of your out-of-pocket costs, use our free CCS Calculator. Select your centre, enter a few details, and get your estimated weekly gap fee on the spot. Are meals included and who prepares the food?
Yes, all meals are included in your fees. Our centre Cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals on-site each day, following a rotating menu designed to meet the dietary needs of young children. We cater for common allergies and dietary requirements, and you’re always welcome to view the weekly menu. All team members involved in food handling complete Food Safety Training.
How will I stay updated on my child's day?
We use OWNA and KindyHub to share daily updates, observations, and photos directly with families. You’ll be able to see what your child has been learning, eating, and exploring, and message the team if you have any questions throughout the day.
