Meet Kathryn
My name is Kathryn and I have relocated to beautiful Cairns from Tasmania, with my family. I have been in the industry for almost 7 years, working as an educator in the classroom, room leader, and a Director of a service. I believe strongly in building positive relationships with families and their children, while working closely with my team to support them in delivering the best quality care and learning environments.
I am passionate about providing children with opportunities to learn, grow and play in an inclusive environment. I look forward to being a part of the Eden family in Edmonton and the journey I am privileged to be a part of.

What are your opening and closing hours?
Edmonton is open Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:30pm. We are closed on public holidays. If you have any questions, our team is happy to help.
What are the fees at Eden Academy Edmonton?
Most families are entitled to the Child Care Subsidy, which makes early learning significantly more affordable. To get a personalised estimate of your out-of-pocket costs, use our free CCS Calculator. Select your centre, enter a few details, and get your estimated weekly gap fee on the spot. Are meals included and who prepares the food?
Yes, all meals are included in your fees. Our centre Cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals on-site each day, following a rotating menu designed to meet the dietary needs of young children. We cater for common allergies and dietary requirements, and you’re always welcome to view the weekly menu. All team members involved in food handling complete Food Safety Training.
How will I stay updated on my child's day?
We use OWNA and KindyHub to share daily updates, observations, and photos directly with families. You’ll be able to see what your child has been learning, eating, and exploring, and message the team if you have any questions throughout the day.
