As Centre Manager, my heart lies in creating a warm, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child, family and educator feels a true sense of belonging. Early childhood education is about so much more than care, it’s about connection, trust and shared experiences that help children grow into confident, capable and curious learners. I lead with kindness, integrity and empathy, building a team culture that feels like family, where every educator feels supported, valued and encouraged to bring their unique strengths to their work. When educators feel inspired and appreciated, they create the most meaningful learning experiences for children.
I see my role as one that builds strong partnerships with families, walking alongside them as we celebrate milestones and nurture each child’s individual journey together, through open communication and trust. What are your opening and closing hours?
Thornlands is open Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 6:30pm. We are closed on public holidays. If you have any questions, our team is happy to help.
What are the fees at Eden Academy Thornlands?
Most families are entitled to the Child Care Subsidy, which makes early learning significantly more affordable. Are meals included and who prepares the food?
Yes, all meals are included in your fees. Our centre Cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals on-site each day, following a rotating menu designed to meet the dietary needs of young children. We cater for common allergies and dietary requirements, and you’re always welcome to view the weekly menu. All team members involved in food handling complete Food Safety Training.
How will I stay updated on my child's day?
We use OWNA and KindyHub to share daily updates, observations, and photos directly with families. You’ll be able to see what your child has been learning, eating, and exploring, and message the team if you have any questions throughout the day.
