Do I need a formal chef qualification?
A Certificate in Commercial Cookery is preferred, but experience in childcare kitchens or commercial catering is also valuable.

Every Eden Academy Chef and Kitchen Hand receives access to our exclusive Nourish to Flourish nutrition program, developed in partnership with leading children’s nutrition experts, Bable.

What kind of meals will I be preparing?
You’ll prepare nutritious meals and snacks using fresh, seasonal ingredients, catering for allergies and cultural needs.
What does a typical day look like?
You’ll begin early to prep breakfast and lunch, clean and maintain kitchen standards, and occasionally engage with children and families.
What kitchen facilities and support will I have?
You’ll work in a fully equipped commercial kitchen with ongoing support for compliance, nutrition planning, and ordering supplies.
