Meet Sarah

Hi, I’m Sarah and I’m the Acting Centre Manager here at Elwood. I joined the team in 2022 and it’s been such a joy working alongside passionate educators and building a warm, inclusive space for children, families, and staff.
With over 10 years in the early childhood sector, we are all about creating an environment where everyone feels safe, supported, and free to be themselves. At Elwood, we love seeing children explore, play, and learn at their own pace. Growing into confident, curious little people. Independence is something we really value, and we make sure every child feels secure enough to take those steps on their own.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our centre and share the everyday magic that makes early learning so special.

    What are your opening and closing hours?

    Elwood is open Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:30pm. We are closed on public holidays. If you have any questions, our team is happy to help.

    What are the fees at Eden Academy Elwood?

    Most families are entitled to the Child Care Subsidy, which makes early learning significantly more affordable. To get a personalised estimate of your out-of-pocket costs, use our free CCS Calculator. Select your centre, enter a few details, and get your estimated weekly gap fee on the spot. To confirm fees or ask any questions, contact the Beaconsfield team directly.

    Are meals included and who prepares the food?

    Yes, all meals are included in your fees. Our centre Cook prepares fresh, nutritious meals on-site each day, following a rotating menu designed to meet the dietary needs of young children. We cater for common allergies and dietary requirements, and you’re always welcome to view the weekly menu. All team members involved in food handling complete Food Safety Training.

    How will I stay updated on my child's day?

    We use OWNA and KindyHub to share daily updates, observations, and photos directly with families. You’ll be able to see what your child has been learning, eating, and exploring, and message the team if you have any questions throughout the day.
