The new speaker system takes team building to the dance floor
One of the most exciting opportunities in cross-centre collaboration has arisen with the installation of the new Sonos speaker systems at Eden Academy centres throughout Australia.
The multi-speaker system allows music to be played in sync throughout the halls and rooms of the centre, creating a relaxing and homely ambience.
However, staff have taken the upgrade into their own hands, using it to not only create a calming ambience for families during drop off and pick up but to have a bit of team fun!
Broadbeach Waters Center Manager, Olivia Teasey, shared a hilarious video to the Eden community group of her and her staff dancing in one of the new classrooms with the construction team joining in on the fun; She captioned the video “Sonos working”.
The team at Thurgoona were quick to respond, posting a fully choreographed dance with ten staff members to the community page, sparking what has now become a company-wide challenge.
The educators at Eden Academy Maroochydore replied with a video of themselves dancing to disco music with party lights and costumes. They captioned their video, “choose a job you love and you will never have to work the rest of your life.”
Palm Beach responded with a choreographed-trio dancing to the classic 2000’s pop-ballad “Untouched” by the Veronicas.”
Most recently, Team Corinda entered the challenge with their upbeat interpretation of “Happy” by Pharell Williams.
Eden Academy Co-Founder, Sean Collins, commented on the challenge saying, “Gold! I think it’s a dance off at this years Xmas parties!”
